Commercial Electronic Message Consent

This text is an optional consent to commercial electronic messages, separate from any purchase of a product or service, pre-registration, privacy notice or acceptance of a contract.

2. Scope of the consent

If you give your consent, ELQA may contact you about new training, digital products, professional content, events, campaigns and similar promotional announcements.

ELQA currently sends commercial electronic messages by email only. No marketing messages are sent by SMS or telephone call; if those channels are used in future, your consent will be obtained separately.

3. Optional nature

Giving this consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, accessing a digital product, enrolling in training or creating a pre-registration. Consent boxes are not presented pre-ticked.

4. Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw your consent to commercial electronic messages at any time using the opt-out method offered in the message concerned, by contacting ELQA, or through the Message Management System (İYS) under the applicable legislation. Once you have opted out, commercial electronic messages are stopped within the statutory period.

5. Personal data

Detailed information about the contact and permission records processed in connection with commercial electronic messages is set out in the ELQA KVKK Privacy Notice. The privacy notice and this consent are separate from each other.

6. Wording of the consent box

The wording used on the registration, contact and order screens is: “I would like to receive email messages about ELQA's training, digital products, content and campaigns.”

The box is not pre-ticked. When consent is given, the date and time of the consent and the source it was collected from (membership, form or order) are recorded; when you withdraw your consent, the opt-out record is kept in the same way.
