This Membership Agreement governs the terms of the membership relationship between a person who creates a free user account on the elqa.com.tr website (the “Member”) and ELQA. Membership is free of charge and does not in itself create any obligation to purchase a product or service.

The Member is the natural or legal person identified by the name, surname, email address, telephone number and, where applicable, organization details provided during registration.
2. Subject of the agreement
The subject of this agreement is the mutual rights and obligations relating to the Member opening an account on the site, using that account and the account coming to an end.
Purchases of paid digital products and training fall outside the scope of this agreement; the Pre-Information Form, the Distance Sales Agreement and the Delivery, Cancellation and Refund Terms apply separately to each purchase.
3. Membership conditions
- The Member must provide accurate, current and complete information when opening the account, and must update it from the account if it changes.
- An account may be created by persons who are at least eighteen years old, or by legal entities acting through an authorised representative.
- For corporate accounts, the person registering declares that they are authorised to represent the organization concerned.
- Only one account may be opened per email address.
- The account is activated once the email address has been verified; an unverified account is not made available for use.
4. Account security
The Member must keep their password and any personal links giving access to their account confidential. The Member is responsible for the transactions carried out through the account.
The Member must notify ELQA immediately if unauthorised use is noticed. ELQA may temporarily suspend access to accounts where it identifies a security risk, and informs the Member.
5. Obligations of the Member
- To use the site in accordance with the law, the rules of good faith and the Terms of Use.
- To use purchased digital products and training materials in accordance with the licence terms; not to share, distribute or resell them to third parties.
- Not to transfer the account to anyone else or make it available for another person's use.
- To refrain from conduct aimed at circumventing the security of the system, sending excessive requests through automated tools or disrupting the operation of the service.
6. Obligations of ELQA
ELQA makes reasonable efforts to keep the account and the site services running without undue interruption. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, security, infrastructure or force majeure.
ELQA may change the content and functions of the site. Changes that materially affect access to a product already purchased are notified to the Member in advance; the Member's rights in respect of purchased products are reserved.
7. Paid products and services
Membership is free. When a paid product or training is purchased, the pre-information and distance sales contract specific to that transaction are presented separately and concluded with the Member's express approval.
Product prices are shown excluding VAT; the total payable, with VAT added, is stated clearly before payment.
8. Intellectual property
The rights in the trademarks, logos, texts, designs, training materials and digital tools on the site belong to ELQA or to the relevant rights holder. Membership does not grant any ownership right in that content.
9. Personal data
Personal data processed in connection with membership is processed as described in the KVKK Privacy Notice and the Privacy Policy. Accepting the membership agreement is not a declaration of explicit consent to the processing of personal data.
10. Commercial electronic messages
Promotional and campaign messages are only sent if the Member separately and optionally gives consent. That consent is not a condition of membership and may be withdrawn at any time. Details are set out in the Commercial Electronic Message Consent text.
11. Suspension and termination of membership
The Member may request closure of their account at any time by writing to suzan.civiroglu@elqa.com.tr. The request is carried out within a reasonable period, subject to statutory retention obligations.
ELQA may temporarily suspend or terminate an account where it identifies use contrary to this agreement or the Terms of Use, a security risk or an unlawful situation. In that case the Member is informed together with the reason.
Termination of membership does not remove the Member's statutory rights in respect of digital products purchased earlier; how access will be provided is agreed with the Member.
Order, invoice, contract and consent records continue to be retained for the periods prescribed by legislation even after membership ends.
12. Changes to the agreement
ELQA may update this agreement in line with changes in legislation or the structure of the service. The current text is published on the site with its version number and effective date. Material changes are notified to the Member by email.
13. Disputes and entry into force
This agreement is concluded electronically when the Member ticks the box confirming that they have read and accept it during registration. The date and time of the acceptance are recorded with the membership.
Turkish law applies to disputes. A Member qualifying as a consumer may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees or the Consumer Courts within the applicable monetary limits and rules of jurisdiction.
