How ELQA collects, uses and protects your information
Version 2.0 · In force since 21 August 2026
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Turkish version of this document is the legally binding text; in case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
1. Scope
This policy covers website visits, contact and pre-registration forms, digital product sales, recorded video courses, live online training, and payment and customer support processes.
2. Information that may be collected
- Name, surname, company, telephone, email and billing details.
- Order and training registration details, payment results and transaction references.
- Digital product download and access records and training attendance records.
- Contact, support and complaint content.
- Technical data such as IP address, session, browser and device information and cookie preferences.
3. Purposes of use
Information is used to provide products and services, manage order and training records, process payments and invoices, provide technical support, ensure security, meet legal obligations and, to the extent the user has separately given permission, for communication and marketing purposes.
4. Payment security
Payments may be processed through the secure infrastructure of the payment service provider used. Records such as the payment result and the transaction reference may be kept in ELQA's order system. As a matter of principle, sensitive payment details such as the card number and CVV are not stored directly on ELQA systems; the privacy and security policies of the payment provider used also apply.
5. Delivery and access security
Links to digital products and recorded training may be personal, order-specific, time-limited or access-controlled. Users must not share their access details with third parties. Where suspicious use or a security risk is identified, access may be temporarily restricted for security reasons.
6. Online training platforms
Zoom or similar third-party platforms may be used for live or recorded training. The privacy policies and technical conditions of those services may also apply. The platform to be used is notified to the participant before the training.
7. Sharing of information
Personal information is not sold. Information may only be shared, in accordance with the legislation and limited to the purpose, with the service providers and competent authorities needed to deliver the service, process payments and invoices, run the technical infrastructure, deliver training, meet legal obligations and manage disputes.
8. Data security
ELQA applies administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the business in order to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Since the absolute security of data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed, users are also advised to use strong passwords, up-to-date devices and software and secure networks.
9. Cookies
The site may use necessary cookies together with functional, analytics or marketing cookies that depend on the user's preference. Details are set out in the Cookie Policy. Cookies requiring explicit consent are not activated before the user has expressed a preference.
10. External links
The site may contain links to third-party websites. The relevant third party is responsible for the content and privacy practices of those sites.
11. Updates and contact
This policy may be updated in line with changes in legislation, technology or the structure of the service. For questions, please contact suzan.civiroglu@elqa.com.tr.
