Organizational Structure & Management Systems

We design processes, responsibilities and management systems around the organization’s structure, while improving the practicality of existing systems.

A management system that exists only as a folder of documents holds up neither in an audit nor in daily operations. ELQA builds the system on the organization's real processes, team structure and decision points; certification is the outcome of that work rather than its starting point. This area covers both setting up a system from scratch and making an existing paper system workable.

Questions we hear about this service

If your question is not answered here, we can go through it directly in a short conversation.

No. ELQA is a consultancy and training company; ISO certificates are issued by accredited certification bodies. For reasons of independence, the same organization cannot both consult and certify. We build the system, run the internal audit and the preparation, and stand with you on the day of the audit.

That decision comes from a short current state analysis rather than an assumption. Documentation and evidence of implementation are reviewed; whatever is usable is kept and only the parts that do not work are rebuilt. Most organizations already have a working core, and rewriting everything is an avoidable cost.

It does, provided the documentation is sized to the organization. Fitting a system built for three hundred people onto a company of thirty stops implementation dead. Our approach is to set up as much procedure as will actually be used and as many records as will actually be filled in.

It depends on the size of the organization, the number of sites and the maturity of what already exists. For that reason the timeline is given as a staged plan after the first meeting and the current state analysis, not as a blanket promise.
